If you drive a Ford, heads up, the driver's side airbag may not inflate properly. See if you're affected by the recall, and more details here...

Nearly 32,000 Fords in the US and Canada are being recalled because of driver side airbag issues. The airbags will only partially fill, and may separate from the module, causing serious problems in a collision.

The airbags were made by Japanese supplier Takata Corp., but they don’t have the same deadly problem that has led to a recall of millions of Takata air bags, according to a report from WCCO.

The recall affects the 2016-2017 Ford Edge, the 2016-2017 Lincoln MKX and the 2017 Lincoln Continental.

Owners of the affected vehicles will start receiving notification the week of March 13th, and will be able to get them replaced for free which will solve the problem.

Ford said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries associated with the defect.
