According to a new study companies that are run by women are three times more successful than those run by men.

There isn't a definitive reason for why women make better CEOs, but the study suggested that their personality types make them better leaders. Being able to keep their egos in check and being aware of stress levels is something that women tend to do better than men.

While there have been some unsuccessful female CEOs, a study has found that if you backed companies run by women in the stock market compared to companies run by men you'd make near 50% more money.

It could be due to the abilities of women, or how much harder they have to work to get to the top. It could also be that the companies that women tend to run, like media companies, did well in the economic upturn. (The Daily Mail)
