RCTC Mechanics Class Car Auction – This Weekend

Every year, the auto mechanics class at RCTC here in Rochester auctions off the cars that have been donated. People can donate cars with bad transmissions, engines, etc. The class uses the cars as teaching tools.

Instructor Dave MacLeod sent me some info and pictures of the cars. There are 8 vehicles that will be sold. If you're looking for a used car that has been inspected by a mechanics class, make a bid. If you're the high bidder on multiple cars you can choose to buy them all or just one. Then the car will go to the next highest bidder. (I got a van years ago for $200 that I used to haul my mobile DJ gear in!)

All of the money they raise from the car sales is used to buy shop equipment like diagnostics computers ans such. Here the info and pics of the cars...-Alan

The Rochester Community and Technical College will receive bids in the Deans Office, room HWF08, at the Heintz Center until Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 7:00 AM for the sale of the vehicles listed below:

All vehicles are sold via sealed bid on an “as-is” basis. Vehicles may be inspected
from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2015, and
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2015, in Room HB124
at the Heintz Center (across from OMC Hospital).

Rochester Community and Technical College reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Each sealed bid shall carry on the outside of the envelope a notation of “Sale of Vehicles”.
