Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Two Rochester high school students are in trouble for a social media post that went viral.

Rochester police were notified Tuesday about a Snapchat post showing a 14-year-old Century student posing with two guns. The post also included the words “Don’t come to school tomorrow.”

Police interviewed the student and he said the guns were actually Airsoft models. He also denied writing the threat. He said a 15-year-old female friend was responsible.

Police say the female has admitted adding the words without his knowledge and then circulating the post.

A police spokesman says criminal charges may be filed against the two.
