Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -The Rochester City Council dealt with three new apartment-related projects at its Wednesday meeting.

One calls for a 164 unit affordable housing project in an industrial zone in the northwest part of the city.

Another will be the first residential project in the DMC’s Discovery Square district in the downtown. It’s located near Soldiers Field Park and calls for 143 units.

And, the council approved a tax increment financing district for a 152 unit project that will be built along East Center St near Mayo Field. The developer will receive $1.6-million in assistance for the project which is required to be completed by March 31, 2019.
