Rochester, MN (KROC AM News)  - A Rochester convenience store was held up early Friday.

Police were called to the Holiday station near St Mary’s just after 1:30 a.m. and were told a masked man threatened the clerk with a gun and then fled with an unknown amount of money. Two customers apparently feared for their safety and ran outside.

A witness saw a man running near the store about the time of the holdup and get into a car that had stopped a block away. The car was silver, possibly a Ford Taurus. Police aren’t sure if it was the getaway vehicle.
