Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester residents just enjoyed one of the warmest Novembers on record.

The month tied for the 2nd warmest November with an average temperature that was 9 degrees above normal (42.8). There were only 3 days during November when the daily temperature was below normal.

The warm month helped contribute to the 2nd warmest Autumn on record for the city.  

The National Weather Service says the average temperature for the September - November period was 53.1 degrees. The warmest on record was 53.7 degrees in the Autumn of 1931. It was also the 4th wettest Autumn on record.

The precipitation total for the three month period was 13.21 inches.That’s more than 51/2 inches above normal. The bulk of that - about 9 inches - fell during September.
