Rochester Gets Together For National Night Out

The Quick Country 96.5 crew had a blast crashing all sorts of community parties last night for National Night Out!

First, a big shout-out to Tom Kadlec Kia for being such an amazing sponsor and helping us out as we delivered root beer floats and Quick Country 96.5 swag Tuesday night!

The weather looked a little threatening to start with as we gathered at Tom Kadlec's Kia dealership along Highway 52 in Rochester and we felt a few rain drops as we hit our first party, but things finally cleared up and it turned out to be a nice night.

National Night Out was started back in 1984 as a “community-police awareness-raising event.“ And, according to estimates by Rochester police yesterday, there were over 460 events scheduled with nearly 85,000 people invited to various parties yesterday. That's more than double last year's total!
