Rochester Has Moved Up to #2 on List of Best Places to Live
Rochester is now listed as the second best place to live in the U.S. on an annual ranking by the website Livibility.com.
Madison, Wisconsin tops this year’s list. Last year, Rochester was ranked 7th and Madison was number 5. The website lists Rochester’s excellent health care, stable economy, recreational assets and large collection of unique shops and restaurants for the community’s high ranking.
Livibility.com’s 2015 report also notes the Mayo Clinic’s presence means Rochester has “an economy, tourism, culture and amenities that are out of scale for a town its size.”
The other cities listed in the top five are - Arlington VA, Boulder CO, and Palo Alto CA.
