Rochester Has Welcomed Nearly 20 New Businesses This Year
What a year! Is anybody else singing what a year in the TLC's "What a Man" theme? No, just me? What a year, what a year, what a year, what a mighty good year. Now you are! ;) I wrote a blog back in April about all the awesome businesses that had opened at that time - Chick-Fil-A, Chocolate Twist, Med Express, and several more. Panda Express and Taco Jed are expected to open soon. Fast-forward a few months to today, and wow, the amount of newcomers is outstanding.
Air Insanity - Something Rochester has definitely been missing. It's an indoor trampoline park. The place is loaded with cool stuff - laser maze, slam dunk zones, nerf wars, ninja obstacle course, warp walls, and of course hundreds of trampolines.
Orange Theory Fitness - Another gym will be opening soon! They are taking over the old Maurice's building in the Apache Mall.
Foster Arend Water Park - Young or old, this is such a cool thing to check out this summer. We've been their numerous times, and the kiddo asks if we can go every day. So happy to have something unique like this in Rochester now.
Marshall's - Rochester is getting a Marshall's! They are building on South Broadway across from the new Starbucks.
It was the week of doubling our fun. What I mean by that is, several places announced they were opening a second location:
- Potbelly is building a second location near Target North
- Machine Shed is opening a second location in Apache Mall in September
- Buffalo Wild Wings finally opened an anticipated second location on 16th St SW
- Jersey Joes is opening another location off 55th St NW (old Tinn's)
Plus, The Compadres Food Truck has a new permanent location inside the Apache Mall.
