Rochester Lourdes Eagles Are State Champs!

My first trip to U.S. Bank Stadium was to watch the Eagles seriously kick butt! 

My voice is gone, but wow, was it ever worth it! The guys put on quite a show, ending with TWO laterals in ONE play! (I've never seen anything like that!!) Students from other schools were even freaking out over their impressive athleticism!

The double lateral play set up the go ahead touchdown with only 25 seconds left.  Rochester Lourdes then held on to beat St. Croix Lutheran 42-35 in the Class 3A title game. This is the Eagles' second state title in three years.
