Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - One of the people charged in connection with a stabbing and robbery in Rochester last summer has been sentenced to 5 years on probation.

32-year-old Sara Heng pleaded guilty last December to a vehicle theft charge through a plea agreement that led to the dismissal of aggravated robbery and assault charges. In addition to the probationary sentence, Heng was ordered to pay over $600 in restitution.

A total of five people were charged in the case, which involved a man from Houston Minnesota who was attacked and suffered a non-life-threatening stab will in the parking lot of a Southeast Rochester hotel last July 3rd. The victim was able to flee on foot and discovered his car was gone when he later returned to to retrieve it. His phone and wallet were also in the stolen vehicle.

The man accused of actually stabbing the victim, 29-year-old Edgar Barrientos, pleaded guilty in the case last month and is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
