Rochester MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to 45 days in jail and 10 years on probation for a burglary conviction connected to a violent home invasion back in December.

21-year-old Ramiz Hamzagic was accused of being with another man when they forced their way into an apartment at a complex in northeast Rochester. Police say the 22-year-old man in the residence was assaulted and suffered a non-life-threatening injury when he was struck on the head with a wrench. He also told police the intruders threatened to shoot out his apartment.

The incident followed an earlier argument between the victim and the man who was with Hamzagic.
