According to BringMeTheNews, big crowds are expected at the Red Bull Crashed Ice series, which is holding its finale in Minnesota for the first time ever. It takes place on St. Paul's Cathedral Hill area, and last year, over 140,000 people showed up to watch the "biggest event in downhill ice cross".

Rochester native Reed Whiting will be one of the competitors to try and tackle the St. Paul course Friday from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Friday and again from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. He's part of the Red Bull Team USA, which features many other Minnesota natives, including Maxwell Dunne of Burnsville and Matt Johnson of Brooklyn Park.
