Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man described by police as a “significant dealer” was arrested Thursday after a raid of his home turned up a variety of illegal drugs.

Interim Police Chief John Sherwin says 43-year-old Terrence Burkhalter has been a seller and distributor of “all kinds of drugs.”

Drugs found at his home at 531 36th St SW included 19 pounds of marijuana, a pound of cocaine, 2 ounces of heroin, and 400 doses of Oxycodone.

Burkhalter is expected to be in court Monday to face multiple drug charges.Sherwin says it’s believed some of the drugs came from a Mexican cartel.

He says the investigation continues and more arrests are possible. Sherwin also says it’s possible this could become a federal case.
