Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A routine traffic stop by a Rochester patrol office Wednesday night led to the arrest of a suspected marijuana dealer.

When the officer went to the vehicle to speak to the driver, the odor of marijuana came out of the window. The driver took off on foot but was caught.

He is now facing a drug charge because the officer found nearly 90 grams of marijuana in the car along with a scale and some baggies.

Arrested was 30-year-old Rodney Salter of Rochester.
