Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Salvation Army has released the results of its annual Christmas fundraising drive and they show the 2015 goals were met.

Donations to the overall Christmas Campaign totaled nearly $1.08 million, about $2,000 above the goal. That was slightly lower than the 2014 total.

The Red Kettle portion of the campaign raised just over $404,000, which surpassed the $400,000 goal.

The Salvation Army says the 2015 drive was a week shorter than the previous three years.

Volunteers helped meet the goal by donating nearly 6300 hours of their time to ring bells and man the various kettles.

Here's a summary.
