Rochester ‘The Walking Dead’ Fan needs Your Vote for Ultimate Fan Search

Meet Melissa (Mel) Valeriano, Registered Nurse, Rochester resident, and HARDCORE 'The Walking Dead' fanatic!

AUDITION VIDEO + SHE NEEDS YOUR VOTE!

Some fans are happy enough to watch marathons of the popular AMC series on their couch at home, while Mel has taken her fandom to a higher level - a much higher level to be exact! She has submitted an audition video to the producers of the show to be voted on by fans. It sure would be cool to have a Rochester, Minnesota resident get the nod, and YOUR VOTE!

I know that there are many hundreds, if not thousands of Quick Country faithful who are fans of this series.

You can help Mel achieve her 'Bucket-List' goal of being selected to appear on the after-show discussion program, AMC Talking Dead. She is pitted against other passionate 'Dead' fans from all over the US, including a couple more from Waseca and Owatonna.

Perhaps you've heard me talk about pursuing my 'Bucket List' ON-AIR and in Blog Post's at Quick Country DOT com. Mel did not contact me. I contacted her about this Blog Post after discovering her initiative in my Facebook feed, via her Facebook Page. I truly believe that fandom can bring some interesting encounters. I consider myself a thrill-seeker, and have found happiness following many of my favorite recording artists around the US. I can appreciate Mel's hell-bent effort to achieve her goal, and appeal to YOU, the loyal Quick Country faithful for your VOTE (for Mel) !

[Mel's 'TWD' BIO]

BIO: I am a hardcore walking dead fanatic, and travel hundreds of miles per year to attend conventions so I can meet the stars of the show, and get photos and autographs. I also have 'Walking Dead' tattoos on my arms; I had four of the main actors sign my arms and their signatures permanently tattooed on. I love the comic!!! Avid reader, and I have meet the creators of the comic book. I heard about the contest on The Talking Dead last year, but didn't think I could win so never tried. After they chose the winner, and I saw other submissions, I thought that I had a pretty decent shot at winning. So I submitted a video this year. I truly do love the show, and that I also inherited a TWD family through my travels and experiences. I dare say, the show has changed my life forever. -Melissa Vee
