Police say 19-year-old Dylan Sutter had threatened the 18-year-old victim while holding a knife and a hammer and began chasing her around outside the residence. A spokesman says Sutter pushed her down and began kicking her. That's when a witness says Sutter hit the back of her head with the hammer. The injury wasn’t serious and the victim did not seek medical attention.

Sutter was gone when officers arrived but was later located and arrested on a felony assault charge. The spokesman says Sutter was upset at the victim over a social media post.

Sutter was in the news earlier this month when some citizens helped a police officer apprehend him after he was suspected of stealing some ammunition from Scheels. When the officer tried to arrest Sutter, he began fighting and then ran into the food court where the citizens saw what was happening and grabbed him.
