Rochesterfest AND Thursday’s On 1st & 3rd Today

Today is one of the busiest days in downtown Rochester. Rochesterfest is going on, along with Thursday's on 1st & 3rd, just around the corner from our studio's. There are some great bands playing today. At 5pm, catch NewFunk featuring LaSonya Fleming at 5, followed by Buffalo Killers at 7 (on the 1st Ave Eastwood Bank Stage) and on the Go Rochester Direct/Peace Plaza stage, see Mike Munson at 5, followed by Letto & Wright at 7.
Rochesterfest has a great Karaoke night tonight, with $300 CASH as the grand prize! And weather permitting, the 'Hot Air Balloon Glow' at the Mayo Civic Center circle drive area.
And the food? It's junk food heaven with cheese curds, turkey legs and many, many more delicacies, along with cold refreshing beverages.
Add to that, the U.S. and Germany playing this morning at 11am in World Cup soccer and you have a "Hey boss, I can't make it into work" day today!
