Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester’s official Memorial Day activities begin just after 9 a.m. with music in the downtown provided by Mayo Clinic’s carillon.

A procession is scheduled to leave the Central Park area at 9:45 and make its way on 1st Avenue to the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial. A program there is scheduled to begin at 10:30.

President Trump will give his first Memorial Day speech Monday morning and then follow the tradition of past presidents and lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery.
