The Rochester Senior Center staff is all ready to move into their new digs on Elton Hills Drive in northwest Rochester-- but the new building isn't quite ready for them... yet.

That's right, the new Senior Center-- which will be known as '125 Live'-- isn't quite live just yet. In fact, it'll be around another month until the Senior Center staff will be able to take occupancy of their new building.

According to this KTTC-TV story, our hot, humid Minnesota summer didn't help much when it came to getting the new building ready to go 'live.' Problems with moisture on the cement floor mean the building won't be ready to go until November 1st-- a month later than the Senior Center had originally planned.

However, the group is still set to move out of its existing home, in the former armory building along North Broadway Avenue. (That building is currently owned by the City of Rochester, and the City Council is currently deciding just what to do with the soon-to-be vacated space.)

So just what will the seniors do in the month they'll be 'homeless'? Looks like they'll meet in various other locations around the Med City... until 125 can truly be 'live'. Here's more on the story:
