Who says Halloween has to be a holiday all about doom, gloom, and creepy things? We can do good year round!

Rochester Public Schools just announced the 3rd annual edition of Trick-Or-Contribution with the Mayo High School Honor Society.

Specifically, non-perishable food items are highly desired for this initiative. However, they're looking for anything to fill the S.O.S. Room - a room that provides Mayo High School students with a variety of school and personal supplies.

To take part, keep an eye out for "trick-or-contribution" students in the Mayo High School area. You can also make a donation directly at the front door of the school from 6:30 pm - 7 pm on Halloween night.

Residents have already received a letter about this cool initiative, but I thought it was worth mentioning here too. What a great cause!

Let's help our kids out!
