Sad Stat: 83 Officers Killed In Line Of Duty In America As Of September 4th, 2015

Every Friday morning I salute the hard workin' "Farmers, Fighters and Freighters" at 6:25am. This morning I decided to Google how many officers have been killed in the line of duty so far this year. Since January 1st to today, September 4th, 2015, 83...yes, 83 officers have lost their lives in the line of duty. 14 officers were killed just last month.
When will the madness end? Here's a link to a website that lists every officer killed in the line of duty and how many were killed each month. The website is the "Officer Down Memorial Page.org".
