If you're looking to head out for drinks and a bite to eat, you'll soon have another new place to try here in the Med City.

That's because the second half of the restaurant pair, Porch and Cellar, is set to open next week Tuesday. According to a post on their Facebook page, Cellar-- the restaurant located in the basement of Porch, along 4th Street southeast in Rochester-- will officially open on November 7th.

The Post-Bulletin also noted that the second half of Porch & Cellar was set to open, as well, and noted that both restaurants are located in the building that was once home to the Chicago Great Western railroad depot, located right along the Zumbro River just a block east of Broadway. The building was first built back in 1902!

Porch & Cellar's Facebook post says Cellar will be "hip" and "chill," will serve craft cocktails and "dynamic, chef-driven small plates." I can't wait to try it.

We've been to Porch several times, and I can't get enough of their smoked brisket as well as their Pickle Back shots. Okay, their Cowboy Potatoes are pretty slick too. It's a great place, and Cellar opening will no doubt make it even better!
