Alan Reed

“After many years in radio, I still look forward to coming to “work” each day.  I grew up in SE MN  and have lived in the area for most of my life.  I enjoy interacting/meeting/talking with local listeners.  As a young man, I gained an appreciation for the hard work our farmers do, because I lived on a 200 acre farm between Pine Island and Mantorville.  We lived right on the border, so our mailing address was Pine Island and my school was K-M.  It’s really weird, but to this day, people still think I’m a ‘border case’.  They must have known where I lived, huh?

It may surprise some that I am a great cook and am still on the hunt for the worlds greatest meat seasoning.  I also enjoy riding the open road on my motorcycle and exploring new places.  My love for music has also led to an opportunity to provide entertainment for countless brides and grooms over the years. I am so fortunate to be doing what I love!

Thanks for sharing each morning together on Quick Country 96.5.  -Alan

I don't drink pop. That's why this makes me shake my head. Ever have a co-worker just not pick up? Maybe they think the cans will eventually crawl into the other wastebasket. I dunno.
