Curt St. John couldn’t be happier to join the Quick Country 96.5 staff! Growing up, being on the radio is all he dreamed of doing. After a stint that required him to wear a bear suit to be the mascot for an AM station that aired Chicago Cubs games in his hometown of Wausau, Wisconsin, he did end up on the radio, working weekends and overnights while he earned his degree from UW-Eau Claire. Curt next hosted a morning radio show in Eau Claire for 15 years, and after getting married, he and his wife (who works at Mayo) moved to Rochester in April of 2012. In his spare time, Curt likes to get out on the mountain bike, catch ‘House Hunters’ on TV and work on his next batch of home-brewed beer. Now that he’s here in Minnesota, Curt loves to follow the Twins and Wild– although he still confesses to rooting for certain NFL and Big 10 football teams that hail from a state just east of here. Curt is excited to keep you company in the afternoon and play the most continuous country on your way home!
