Sometimes you just can't make this stuff up. There's a story about a guy in Mankato who, after having had a beverage or two last weekend (okay, a few more than that-- the story says his blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit), went up to a police officer at bar closing time, and proceeded to give him a 'wet willie.' As you might guess, things didn't go well after that.

Bringmethenews.com says the man was sentenced to three days in jail and was told to pay $77 in court costs, according to reports.  According to the story, "Riley Swearingen, 24, was getting on the Late Night Express (also called the “drunk bus”) in Mankato after the bars closed early Saturday when police say he walked up behind a police sergeant, licked his fingers and poked them in both the officer’s ears."

The story goes on to say, “I thought it would be incredibly funny to give a police officer a wet Willy, to which I was sorely mistaken,” Swearingen said, according to the Free Press. “I’m incredibly sorry for what I did. I never thought I would be going to jail for the weekend.”

So, police DON'T like to get a 'Wet Willie'. Huh. You learn something new everyday, I guess!

Here's how KEYC-TV reported the story...
