The Interwebs were abuzz yesterday when a local photo surfaced of Robin Williams hanging out at a Dairy Queen in Lindstrom, Minnesota. According to one report, the legendary actor and comedian apparently ordered a small vanilla cone. Seeing that a famous Hollywood celebrity most likely didn't travel to Minnesota just to get an ice cream cone, we now know WHY he's been spotted in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Was he filming a new movie? Taking a turn on-stage at a Twin Cities comedy club? Nope. According to Popcrush.com, it turns out Robin had checked himself into the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Center City for what the story called 'check-up and maintenance' for his drug and alcohol addiction.

According to the story, Williams' rep said, “After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud.”
