We all love our mothers, but the Blooming Prairie woman, who was the subject of a nationwide manhunt last month, is finally facing the music after killing two people... One of those her own husband.

Dubbed the "Killer Grandma" by authorities, 56-year-old Lois Riess was recently caught April 19th in Texas and extradited her back to Florida, where she currently remains. Now her youngest son has come forward and bravely discussed his mother in an interview that's scheduled to air Thursday evening.

Braden Riess, who lives in the Rochester area, appears on the syndicated "Inside Edition" tonight locally on NBC affiliate KTTC, Channel 10, at 6:30 p.m.

In it, he says “It’s unbelievable,” in a portion of the interview released ahead of time by the show. “I can’t wrap my head around it. My mom was a good lady," he said. “She had her own demons, you know, lately,” stating later in the interview. “Something happened in her brain that made her snap.”

According to the latest reports, Lois Riess attempted to hide the Florida crime scene and she won’t return to Minnesota until her case in Florida ends. In Minnesota, she is also charged with the theft of $11,000 from her husband’s bank account but not yet with murder. Dodge County officials have said her prosecution in Minnesota will wait until after Florida has completed its proceedings.

She is scheduled to make her next court appearance on Thursday.
