Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man ended up in jail Monday after getting into an argument with a woman that turned violent.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Scott Behrns says the incident began around 8:00 PM outside a residence in the 2300 block of Falcon Terrace Ln NW.

Witnesses reported seeing 34-year-old Samuel Steward and the woman arguing and both began pulling on a baby stroller with a young child inside.

Behrns says Steward began choking and slapping the woman before knocking her to the ground. After Steward was taken into custody, deputies found half a gram of methamphetamine in his wallet.
