Suspected DUI Driver Causes Rochester Wreck
Rochester police suspect alcohol was involved in a three vehicle wreck near the Crossroads Shopping Center last night.
A spokesman says it happened around 11 o’clock at the intersection of South Broadway and Highway 14 when a car ran a red light and hit another vehicle broadside. A third vehicle was also involved in the wreck.
A woman driving one of the vehicles was treated for minor injuries. The 49 year old Eyota man who was driving the car that caused the wreck was taken to St. Mary’s where he was treated and released. The police spokesman says he may be charged with DUI.
