Suspicious Fire in Haverhill Township

Haverhill Township (KROC AM News) -- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s department received a call regarding a suspicious fire Sunday morning.

Neighbors in the Haverhill Township in northeast Rochester noticed someone burning something in a roadside ditch about 3 A.M. this (Sunday) morning. Deputies discovered a man burning the coating off of piles of copper wiring.

He was cited and released, pending an investigation as to the origin of the copper wire.
