If you happened to be in Edina watching a youth hockey tournament last week, was that really Carrie Underwood watching in the stands along with you?

Turns out, yes, it was. And, yes it was THAT Carrie Underwood-- you know, the winner of American Idol, and the Grammy, ACM and CMA award-winner who's also a major country star. So just what was Carrie Underwood doing watching youth hockey in Edina?

According to BringMeTheNews, she was there watching a friend's son play in the tournament. She had played a date the previous day in Wisconsin and had a day off before heading to play a concert in North Dakota last weekend. So, she took in the Stars and Stripes Youth Hockey tournament at the Minnesota Made Ice Arena in Edina.

And Carrie's no slouch when it comes to hockey, mind you-- seeing as her hubby is the Nashville Predator's own Mike Fisher, so I guess it makes sense. Several Minnesotans in the stands recognized Carrie, and were lucky enough to get a picture with the country superstar...
