It's not every day you get to talk to the biggest selling solo act of all-time, but that's what happened Friday morning on Quick Country 96.5. A few hours before tickets went on sale for his May 4th show at U.S. Bank Stadium, THE one and only Garth Brooks called to talk with me.

I've been lucky enough to have been doing this radio thing for 30 years now (yes, I started when I was 6!), and this was, by far, the thrill of my career so far. I tried not to fan-boy too much, but I still wanted to let Garth know how much it meant that he would take time out of his busy day to chat with us here in Rochester on Quick Country 96.5!

And, of course, tickets for his show sold out in just under an hour-- which lead Minnesota Governor Dayton to ask Garth to do ANOTHER show. And, good news, Garth said he's IN! We expect to have more details about a possible second U.S. Bank Stadium Show soon! (And, of course, keep listening for two Garth songs in-a-row to go to his show!)

In the meantime, check out what Garth had to say when I talked to him Friday morning...
