During our recent vacation to Nashville, we were lucky enough to score tickets to see Garth Brooks' concert at the Ascend Amphiteatre Monday night.

We'd already planned our vacation to Nashville when Garth announced he was doing a special thank you performance as a part of his 7 Diamond Celebration at Nashville's brand new, outdoor Ascend Amphitheater.

(As USA Today noted, "the event marked Brooks’ feat of being the first artist to have seven albums earn a diamond certification from the Record Industry Association of America — a distinction awarded when an album sells more than 10 million copies.")

While the show was free, the only way to get tickets was to follow Garth and Tennessee Tourism on Snap Chat to get the code, then input the code on their site... and hope you got tickets.

Well, my wife-- who's a huge Garth fan-- did. So we got to see the show, which was incredible. Garth was joined by artists like Reba McEntire, Jason Aldean, Chris Young, Kelly Clarkson, and Steve Wariner as they did their favorite Garth songs. (Garth then did a song from each of his Diamond certified albums, too.) It ended with fireworks over the river, too. Check out the pictures...
