Tis the season. There's a Girl Scout on every corner selling boxes of America's favorite treat. Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs - I want them all. The only thing that could possibly make a box of cookies any better, WINE! Here is the ultimate wine pairing guide according to local professionals:

Thin Mints - Cabernet. Annie from Chester's Kitchen and Bar recommends Justin Cab.

Tagalongs (peanut butter patties) - Pinot Noir according to Ted and Taylor from Andy's Liquor.

Samoas (Caramel Delights) - Reisling. Keith from Apollo says the hints of pineapple in the wine will mesh perfectly with the coconut in the cookies.

Not a white wine fan? Amber of Casablanca recommends a nice Malbec to pair with Samoas. Her favorite is Donna Estate.

S'mores - A sweet bubbly dessert wine. Nikki from Bleu Duck Kitchen recommends Cacina Ca'Rrossa "Birbet" Brachetto.

Shortbread - Chardonnay or Prosecco. Local wino Tara says either would be the perfect compliment to the Shortbread cookie.
