Will this test really tell you if your relationship is doomed??

According to a story in the Wall Street Journal, there's a new study saying that "assembling a piece of furniture from IKEA is the ultimate relationship test." In fact, one therapist from San Diego calls the furniture and home goods giant "The Divorce-maker!" Apparently the store itself, and assembling its products, are consistently being brought up in therapy -- so much so that they've decided to use the store as a communication test.

We've all been there -- bought a piece of inexpensive furniture from IKEA that you have to assemble yourself. It's most definitely a challenge to put those things together! I have bought a shelf with my man -- a SMALL shelf. It took us HOURS to put it together. We spent more time laughing at how terrible the "directions" (or lack thereof) were, rather than arguing. Does that mean we passed the test??
