Well, looks he's like he's put down his revolver and exchanged it for an acoustic guitar and a backing band. Kiefer Sutherland has a band, a debut album in the works, and he's going out on tour!

Maybe you remember him from the FOX Televison hit, 24. Certainly, 'Jack Bauer' was a bad a** not to be messed with. Or maybe one of the memorable movie roles, in such flicks as The Lost Boys, Stand By Me, Young Guns, A Few Good Men, and many more. You can check out his biography HERE. >> Kiefer Sutherland BIO

For us here in SE Minnesota it looks like we'll have to wait to see him perform LIVE with the Kiefer Sutherland Band, for the closest he gets to us on an upcoming tour swing is Shank Hall in Milwaukee, where Kiefer will actually be kicking off this tour on April 14th.

According to Rolling Stone, Kiefer is in the process of finalizing the specific songs for his debut album, 'Down In A Hole' which is due to release in the near future.

I've listened to several of his songs recorded by LIVE audience's and then uploaded to You Tube and I must say, he's got a very distinctive 'Bakersfield-kinda-sound' that may have been influenced by that regional music scene, and defined by the likes of Buck Owens, Dwight Yoakam, and others. On one of the tracks he sounded similar to that of Gary Allen IMHO. In the meantime, here are a couple of video's for you to check out today. Listen for yourself!  -Steve~ Quick Country Weekends

[ PS...... I'd go see him LIVE! -sr ]
