This weekend, something caught my eye in the Mayo Civic Center. Have you seen it yet?

Firstly, all of us at Townsquare Media want to thank you guys (and Universal Marine & RV and Subaru of Rochester) for stopping at the Mayo Civic Center arena to check out our 55th Annual Home, Vacation and RV show.

It while was I was making my way to be at the show myself that I noticed an AWESOME display along the way. It's called "Locks of Compassion" - and I bet most of you have seen it before, just not at Mayo Civic Center. It spent the summer on the Peace Plaza downtown.

You might be wondering what exactly a "lock of compassion" is - it's an amazing concept, and this website explains; "In many parts of the world, “love locks” attached to bridges and even metal trees have expressed uniting one to another. The “Locks of Compassion” project will re-create that symbolic expression of unity in our community this summer by embracing a spirit of compassion!"

Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota have certainly accomplished that goal. Numerous residents, organizations, and visitors have all added locks to it.
