I saw this ring at a party and I'm certain that if you haven't seen THIS ring, you've never seen one like it. A guy named Jeff Kunz was wearing the ring and he handed it over. You can actually FEEL the diamond with your fingertip, and there's nothing covering that open space. It's shiny and fun and why does it stay in there? My guess is magic. Would you wear it?

Jeff and also talked about my favorite gemstone, tanzanite. I like it WAY more than diamonds and it is way more rare than them, too. What I didn't know is how it came to be. Turns out tanzanite doesn't come out of the ground purple or blue. It takes heat to make it happen. A massive fire destroyed an area where the stone was discovered and they all turned purple. Can you imagine waking up one day to all that purple?
