We were heading down Highway-14 west in Rochester the other day when we got behind a truck with something curious written across its back door.

Yes, that's right-- the truck had the phrase "Replace door" scrawled in red across its back door. Now, I'm not sure exactly what that meant, but here's the first thing that ran through my mind:

The door on the truck is bad (and thus the message that it needed to be replaced) and might fly open at any time, spilling the contents of said truck all over Highway-14-- and, potentially, us.

Now, I don't know that that was the case, of course. And, it's worth noting that in the short amount of time we were behind the truck, the door didn't open. Maybe the door is just worn out, and needs replacing-- but perhaps the latch still works fine.

Or, maybe the truck-- with a door that needs replacing-- is empty, and even if the worn out door flew open it wouldn't hurt anything.

Either way, I've thought WAAAAYYY too much about it. But it didn't exactly install a lot of confidence in me when I saw it..
