If you regularly ride a bicycle, as I do, then you'll know right away that this guy is doing a good job at giving other cyclists a bad name.

As someone who often likes to ride my mountain bike here in Rochester, I'm very aware of the fact that many cyclists-- like this guy-- don't follow the rules and laws of the road. However, If we cyclists want to be treated with respect by other drivers, then we also have to show some respect, as well.

That means stopping for stop signs and red lights. Using the proper lanes for turns. You know, basic stuff. But THIS cyclist, riding through downtown Minneapolis earlier this year, does things exactly WRONG.

Even though he is riding in the designated bike lane, watch as he blows right through a red light and enters the cross traffic. He's lucky he wasn't hit! Thankfully, the other drivers were quick enough to stop before they plowed into him.

It's this kind of behavior that makes me-- as a fellow cyclist, mind you-- not like bicyclists! See for yourself (he darts into the intersection at about :32 seconds in...)
