The Twins' 2016 home opener is set for Monday at Target Field, and while the team will be trying to get a win over the White Sox, here are some new foods set to take field (or concession stand) for the first time this season.

According to the Twins website, loaded pretzel bites, Loon Cafe chili, a variety of burgers (including the Ultimate, Blues, Turkey) and poutine from the Red Cow Cafe, plus pizza from Pizza Luce are all making their Target Field debut this season.

That's, of course, in addition to the many other culinary offerings that are available-- which are many! If you're a foodie, you really can't go wrong at Target Field. Gone are the days of your food choices at the ballpark being limited to a hot dog, some nachos (with that really orange-colored cheese), popcorn and a beer; Target Field, in my opinion, leads the majors in the incredible food available.

We usually get up to at least one game a year (most often when the Milwaukee Brewers are in town for their annual inter-league series), and we've found you can't lose with a genuine Kramarczuck's bratwurst or sausage. Plus, their stand is located not too far from the 2 Gingers Pub, where, if you're lucky, you can find a table to sit down and enjoy your food before heading back to your seat.

Seeing that there are so many great places to eat when you're taking in a Twins game, this  article lists some especially good Target Field foods. What's you favorite?
