A familiar (if not stereotypical) way for a lot of filmmakers to begin a movie is to start with a wide overhead shot of the neighborhood where the movie takes place and then zoom into a much smaller location-- like a room inside a house. But this video takes that concept to a whole different level!

I found it on a Facebook friend's feed the other day, and, of course, had to click on it. It's from a Facebook page belonging to someone (or thing) called 'Uzay & Bilim', and though their page is clearly in another language, it obviously has something to do with science.

And while their page may be in a foreign language, the subtitles in this video are in English. And it takes zooming in on a location and then zooming back out again to a whole other level. It's pretty cool-- and the piano soundtrack is rather soothing, too. I admit to being somewhat obsessed with Google Maps and its satellite photography that allows you to zoom directly overhead and back out again. But doing that is nothing like this...
