Three New Convenience Stores Opening in Rochester This Spring

The spring season may only be a day old, but it already looks like there will be a bumper crop of new convenience stores in Rochester this year.

That's right, according to this story in the Rochester Post-Bulletin, Kwik Trip is preparing to open two new convenience stores and gas stations here in the Med City.

The story says they'll be located along the corner of West Circle Drive Northwest and Valleyhigh Road Northwest (a little west of the new Hy-Vee West Circle); and along 65th Street Northwest and Bandel Road across from Highway 52 (near the new Menards).

Both will have full gas stations with car washes, the story noted, and will bring Kwik Trip's total number of stores in Rochester to 13 locations.

Casey's General Stores is also set to expand this spring in Rochester. The same Post-Bulletin story said that the third Rochester Casey's location is set to open along 7th Street Northwest and Valleyhigh Drive, across from the Rochester Meats facility.

I love me both some Kwik Trip (love their sandwiches and fountain drinks) AND Casey's (addicted to their pizza!) so I'll be glad to see them open later this year!
