Today is national 'Baby Back Ribs Day'. Am I the only one that just had the Chili's "I got my baby back, baby back, baby back" jingle run through their heads?
When was the last time you had ribs? I made some a few months ago on my smoker. What's the key to good smoked ribs? I believe a good rub and the right wood chips. I use a combination of apple and cherry wood to give it a smooth flavor.
As for the sauce? You can make your own or I use 'Cookies' BBQ sauce. It's made in Iowa and it's got a good sweet flavor. John Hardy's, Roscoe's and Famous Dave's also have great sauces.
I hope you get a chance to enjoy some ribs today. Don't forget the 'wet-naps' for your mouth and fingers! - Alan
