I have been having a blast with you guys in Minnesota since I first cracked open the mic on August 8th this year! I know it's only been a few months, but I really feel like we have a lot of fun together. We've created some hilarious memories since then!

Let's take a look back at the best moments on Afternoons With Val for 2016!

1. That time we hung out with Rodney Atkins.

Harvest Jam 2016! What an awesome time! I invited you guys to be part of "Val's Pack" and head backstage to meet Rodney Atkins after he was done performing. Did you see your meet and greet photo? If not, click here!

2. When we found out how we felt about farm animals.

This went on for a full week! We talked pigs, cows, horses and more! It was these calls and reactions that got me to develop "the movie clip game" to kick off each show at 2:30, and we've been having fun ever since!

3. We got spooky in October.

We had a lot of fun sharing creepy stories at around Halloween time! We heard about ghost, and ouija boards, and their crazy after effects. Did you miss any? Get more here.

4. You guys won A LOT of money!

Between "Santa's Secret Sound" in December and "Quick Cash" in November, you guys won a lot of money on Afternoons With Val! What's better than that?

5. Watching the CMA Awards together, and got help from Sam Alex!

Sam Alex of Taste Of Country Nights was awesome enough to answer some burning questions we had about the 50th CMA Awards this year!

The next day, we watched them together, and we busy on social media all night! Haha!

6. Getting to the bottom of the latest rumors.

No celeb is immune! We've been getting to the bottom of the latest gossip in the country world, and Hollyweird since August, every day at around 4:30 - mostly discussing hilarious stories like these!

I've truly had a wonderful time with all of you, and I hope for even more in 2017! Stay tuned. It only gets better from here.
