A lot of people plan to travel over the holidays. And here's a helpful tip from safety officials if you're taking to the skies this holiday season.

Law enforcement officials say Thanksgiving travelers should not put their home address on their luggage tags because thieves use the information to locate homes they can break into. Police officers suggest using a business address. Announcing travel plans on social media is also discouraged.
