Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two area people are recovering from non-life threatening injuries following separate single-vehicle crashes in southeastern Minnesota on Saturday.

A woman was traveling Highway 61 a few miles south of Winona near Homer when she lost control, causing the vehicle to smash into a rock wall on a bluff and catch fire. The State Patrol report indicates the road surface was slick because of frost when the crash occurred around 8:15 a.m.

Alcohol is listed as a factor in the other crash, which occurred on westbound Highway 14 near Mantorville. The State Patrol says 39-year-old Jason Shadow of Kasson lost control of his SUV, which rolled into the median. That crash was reported around 4:30 p.m.
